Controller
Responsibilities:
• Lead the monthly close cycle and ensure accounting records are finalized accurately and on schedule in alignment with U.S. reporting standards.
• Prepare and review recurring financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and consolidated revenue analysis across key business categories.
• Develop the annual operating budget, maintain monthly forecast updates, and refresh longer-range financial plans to reflect business performance and strategic initiatives, including acquisition activity when applicable.
• Coordinate audit preparation, support tax filing requirements through external advisors, and oversee annual vendor tax form distribution for eligible recipients.
• Manage compliance reporting tied to lending agreements, including periodic borrowing base submissions, coverage ratio calculations, and support for annual field examinations.
• Oversee banking activity and financing administration, and partner with leadership to evaluate and secure additional funding sources when needed.
• Maintain the reliability of finance-related platforms such as Sage, PowerBI, Cratoflow, and Expensify, while partnering with billing and customer service stakeholders where systems intersect.
• Safeguard the integrity of accounting master data, administer corporate records and registrations, and assist with financial due diligence and analysis for mergers and acquisitions.
• Participate in leadership discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, to improve the accuracy and consistency of business and financial data.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in controllership, accounting leadership, or a comparable senior finance role.• Demonstrated expertise in month-end close, monthly financial reporting, and preparation of complete financial statements.
• Strong background in financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical review of operating results.
• Experience supporting external audits, tax compliance processes, and lender or investor reporting requirements.
• Working knowledge of banking relationships, corporate finance administration, and cash flow oversight.
• Familiarity with finance and reporting systems such as Sage, PowerBI, expense management platforms, and related operational tools.
• Ability to contribute effectively in executive meetings and present financial information clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
• Experience supporting M& A-related financial analysis, documentation, or due diligence activities is preferred.
