Order Fulfillment Associate
Location: San Carlos, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 6-8 Week Contract with Potential Extension
Robert Half is partnering with a growing medical device company in San Carlos that is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Order Fulfillment & Logistics Coordinator to support its Sales Operations and Shipping team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys focused, hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
In this role, you will play a key part in the order fulfillment process by managing sales orders, coordinating shipments, and ensuring medical devices are accurately prepared and distributed to customers. The ideal candidate enjoys focused, heads-down work, can manage a high volume of orders with precision, and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. This position is primarily desk-based and will involve spending most of the day working on a computer processing orders, entering data, tracking shipments, transferring sales orders, preparing shipping documentation, and coordinating shipments through carriers such as FedEx, DHL, and occasional air freight providers. This is a casual, team-oriented workplace supporting the distribution of medical devices nationwide.
Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in order fulfillment, shipping, logistics, sales support, customer operations, or a related field.
Experience processing sales orders, order entry, and coordinating shipments from order receipt through delivery.
Familiarity with shipping carriers such as FedEx, DHL, and air freight services.
Experience using NetSuite, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM/ERP systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling high-volume order processing.
Comfortable performing primarily desk-based, computer-focused work with extended periods of focused, independent task completion.
Ability to work independently and remain productive in a heads-down, process-driven environment.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Experience in a medical device, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment is a plus.
Compensation
