Customer Success Specialist

Raleigh, NC 27610, US Contract
Compensation: $31.35 to $36.30 Hourly

We are looking for a Customer Success Specialist to support customer programs and keep orders, production activity, and deliveries aligned with business commitments in Raleigh, North Carolina. This contract opportunity has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced utilities and infrastructure environment and enjoys working across operations, logistics, and customer-facing teams. In this role, you will help ensure a smooth customer experience by tracking order execution, communicating updates, and coordinating solutions when issues arise.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee customer program activity by aligning order timelines with production capacity, inventory availability, and delivery schedules.
• Review forecasts, purchase orders, shipment progress, and stock levels to help maintain reliable fulfillment and on-time performance.
• Serve as a central point of contact for customers and internal teams by sharing status updates, managing expectations, and addressing service concerns.
• Maintain accurate order, inventory, and delivery information within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related business systems.
• Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and operations partners to resolve exceptions and keep commitments on track.
• Identify recurring service or process issues, recommend practical improvements, and support corrective actions that strengthen customer satisfaction.
• Prepare operational reports, monitor performance indicators, and provide administrative coordination to support daily program execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training.
• At least 5 years of experience in customer success, supply chain, operations, project coordination, production planning, or a comparable field.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise systems, with preference for Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong skills in organization, analysis, and prioritization with the ability to manage several activities at once.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a track record of building effective working relationships.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
• Familiarity with manufacturing, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain processes is preferred.
• Experience using process automation or reporting tools such as Access or similar platforms is a plus.

Compensation

$31.35-$36.30 Hourly
