Patient Registration Representative

Location: Doylestown, PA and Warrington PA
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Robert Half is partnering with a leading healthcare organization in Bucks County that is seeking several Patient Registration Representatives to join their team. These are contract-to-hire opportunities supporting patient access and registration functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
Complete accurate patient pre-registration and registration processes
Verify insurance eligibility, coverage, and benefits prior to or at the time of service
Secure and verify authorizations in accordance with payer requirements
Enter physician orders accurately into applicable systems
Identify and collect applicable patient financial responsibility
Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
Resolve registration, eligibility, and authorization issues as they arise
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth patient experience
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently
Preferred
Prior hospital, healthcare, insurance, or patient access experience
Experience with insurance eligibility verification and authorizations
EPIC experience strongly preferred
Training

Selected candidates will complete:

Four-day EPIC training program (Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
EPIC assessment following training
HIPAA training
Advanced Scheduling Concepts training

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in patient registration, medical office support, or another healthcare administrative environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and payers.
• Working knowledge of insurance verification, authorizations, benefit coordination, and financial responsibility discussions.
• Familiarity with HIPAA-regulated environments and the importance of confidentiality and documentation accuracy.
• Experience using Epic software or comparable electronic registration or health record systems is preferred.
• Ability to manage scheduling tasks, office functions, and multiple priorities with close attention to detail.
• Comfortable working onsite in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and adapting to training, workflow changes, and team expectations.
