Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support clients and partners by delivering responsive service and accurate insurance-related assistance in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized, and can manage service requests effectively. The person in this role will handle customer inquiries, complete policy-related documentation, and help ensure records and updates are processed correctly and on time.
Responsibilities:
• Address customer concerns and service issues promptly, working to reach effective resolutions while maintaining a positive experience.
• Communicate policy details, product information, and claim or service status updates to customers and agency partners in a clear and thorough manner.
• Prepare and process insurance documentation such as coverage changes, beneficiary updates, confirmation notices, certificates of insurance, and related administrative forms.
• Enter and update information accurately in internal records to support efficient account handling and documentation tracking.
• Review invoices and account details, making necessary adjustments to help maintain billing accuracy.
• Organize and maintain customer files and supporting documents to ensure records remain complete, current, and accessible.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contacts to follow up on requests and keep service activities moving forward efficiently.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.• Prior experience in customer service; call center experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of insurance products and general familiarity with the insurance industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly.
• Strong attention to detail, diplomacy, and tact when interacting with customers, agents, and colleagues.
• Accurate typing and data entry skills with strong attention to detail.
• Solid organizational abilities and effective time management in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
