Employment Associate Attorney
Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in employment-related disputes through all phases of litigation, from case assessment to resolution.
• Conduct and defend depositions, gather witness testimony, and develop factual records to support case strategy.
• Prepare motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents with strong attention to detail and persuasive analysis.
• Manage matters involving arbitration and mediation, including case preparation, participation, and follow-up actions.
• Advise on employment law issues affecting public sector organizations and help address complex workplace disputes.
• Collaborate with attorneys and internal stakeholders in a hybrid work setting while maintaining an active presence in the office.
• Analyze legal risks, evaluate claims and defenses, and recommend practical litigation strategies aligned with client objectives.
Qualifications:
• Active license to practice law and good standing with the applicable state bar.• At least 3 years of experience in employment law, with a strong foundation in employment litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to take and defend depositions in contested matters.
• Experience drafting motions and other substantive litigation filings.
• Solid background in civil litigation procedure and case management.
• Familiarity with arbitration and mediation processes in employment-related cases.
• Experience working on matters involving public sector employers is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid role that includes regular in-office collaboration.
Compensation
