Associate Project Manager

New York, NY 10022, US Temporary
Compensation: $45 to $50 Hourly

We are looking for a detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to support project delivery for commercial real estate initiatives in New York, New York. This is a Contract position with the potential to convert to a permanent role, offering the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to keeping projects on track, documented, and aligned with quality expectations.

Responsibilities:
• Support the planning and execution of assigned projects by helping manage timelines, deliverables, and day-to-day coordination activities.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain project records so documentation remains accurate, current, and readily accessible to stakeholders.
• Monitor project activities to help ensure work is performed in accordance with client expectations, company procedures, and established standards.
• Partner with internal departments to align project scope, scheduling needs, and operational priorities across the full project lifecycle.
• Attend meetings and site visits to track progress, gather updates, and help resolve issues that may affect schedule, quality, or execution.
• Contribute to quality oversight by identifying gaps, escalating concerns, and supporting consistent project controls throughout delivery.
• Apply industry best practices to project workflows to improve organization, communication, and overall execution.
• Assist with initiatives involving space planning, move coordination, or furniture reconfiguration when required by the project.
• Provide timely communication to team members and stakeholders regarding milestones, next steps, and project status updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• 2-4 years of project management or closely related experience within commercial real estate, construction, or a similar environment.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the interpersonal ability to build productive working relationships.
• Familiarity with construction processes and general commercial real estate project practices.
• Experience supporting move management, workplace changes, or furniture reconfiguration projects is preferred.
• Project management or change management certification is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate within a team setting, and travel for meetings or site visits as needed.

Compensation

$45.00-$50.00 Hourly
