Tax Manager
Hybrid Corporate Tax Manager Opportunity.
We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead a broad range of corporate tax activities for a growing organization in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position supports compliance and reporting across U.S. federal, state, and international tax matters while helping ensure accurate tax accounting and timely filings. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively across finance and business teams.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation and review of corporate tax filings, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Manage federal and state tax matters, including planning, reporting, and responses to changing regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate international tax activities and support the organization’s obligations across cross-border operations.
• Lead the income tax provision process, including analysis, documentation, and alignment with financial reporting requirements.
• Partner with accounting and finance teams to gather data, resolve tax-related issues, and improve reporting accuracy.
• Monitor tax law developments and assess their impact on the company’s compliance approach and tax position.
• Support audits, notices, and inquiries from tax authorities by preparing schedules, explanations, and required documentation.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience managing corporate tax compliance and reporting in a business environment.• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and their practical application.
• Hands-on experience with income tax provision preparation and related accounting requirements.
• Familiarity with international tax concepts and reporting considerations.
• Ability to analyze complex tax matters and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced credentials such as CPA are preferred.
Compensation
