Purchasing Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support day-to-day purchasing and accounting-related activities for a team in Lake Worth, Florida. This is a Long-term Contract position offering a steady Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The ideal candidate will help maintain accurate purchasing records, process invoices and billing information, and provide administrative support using Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities:
• Enter purchasing, billing, and vendor information into internal records with a high degree of accuracy.
• Review invoices for completeness, match supporting documentation, and assist with timely processing.
• Provide administrative support for purchasing activities, including tracking orders and maintaining organized files.
• Use Microsoft Excel and other Office applications to update spreadsheets, prepare reports, and manage routine data.
• Communicate with vendors and internal staff to resolve discrepancies related to pricing, orders, or invoice details.
• Assist with document management and data upkeep within company purchasing systems as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in billing, invoice handling, data entry, or purchasing support is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, is required.
• Ability to enter and maintain data accurately in internal systems and spreadsheets.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple routine tasks efficiently.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordination with vendors and team members.

Compensation

$19.00-$22.00 Hourly
