Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a Contract Administrative Assistant to support a short-term special project in Baltimore, Maryland within the automotive industry. This onsite role is well suited for someone who combines strong administrative skills with a sharp eye for detail and a data-driven approach to problem solving. The position focuses on reviewing information, identifying the sources of operational delays, and organizing findings for leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Examine operational records and related system information to determine factors contributing to delays and backlogs.
• Compare Excel-based reports with internal data sources to verify accuracy and resolve mismatched record details.
• Review image and camera-related information alongside tag and license data to confirm consistency across records.
• Perform targeted research to locate workflow gaps, recurring issues, and areas where efficiency can be improved.
• Enter, update, and audit data in multiple systems while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Document findings, summarize patterns, and prepare clear reports with practical observations and recommendations.
• Provide regular project updates to management and escalate issues when discrepancies require additional review.
• Apply sound judgment when evaluating incomplete or conflicting information and work independently after training is completed.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in administrative support, data review, reporting, auditing, or a related analytical role.• Strong Excel skills, including the ability to sort, filter, compare, and reconcile information efficiently.
• Proven accuracy in data entry and record validation across multiple platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect inconsistencies and investigate root causes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting results and sharing progress with leadership.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and manage assigned work with minimal supervision.
• Solid organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced project environment.
Compensation
