Database Administrator

We're seeking a Senior SQL Database Administrator to support a large enterprise SQL Server environment. This role will focus on both day-to-day database administration and a major SQL Server modernization initiative, including upgrades to SQL Server 2025 and support for migrating large Oracle databases to SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise SQL Server environments.
• Lead SQL Server upgrades and modernization efforts.
• Monitor, tune, and optimize database performance.
• Develop automation using PowerShell and T-SQL.
• Maintain database security, backups, and availability.
• Support large-scale database migrations and enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SQL Server DBA experience.
• Experience supporting Very Large Databases (VLDBs) in multi-terabyte environments.
• Strong performance tuning, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, and database security experience.
• Experience with PowerShell, T-SQL, or other automation tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Basic Oracle administration experience is preferred.
