HR Generalist
Responsibilities:
• Oversee employee leave, paid time off, and attendance records, ensuring requests are entered accurately and balances remain up to date.
• Maintain organized personnel files and HR documentation while performing routine reviews to confirm accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Lead orientation activities for new employees and coordinate onboarding steps to help employees transition smoothly into the organization.
• Monitor required training for new and existing employees, track completion status, and follow up to keep learning requirements current.
• Administer employment eligibility documentation, including I-9 and E-Verify processing, in accordance with federal regulations.
• Support employees with benefits-related processes, including enrollment paperwork, leave documentation, and short-term disability claim assistance.
• Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, timekeeping, and other personnel matters with professionalism and discretion.
• Partner with staffing providers and assist with administrative tasks related to contingent workforce support.
• Contribute to employee relations efforts by documenting performance or disciplinary matters and assisting with broader HR initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in human resources or a closely related administrative HR role.• Working knowledge of employee relations, onboarding, benefits support, attendance tracking, and general HR administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented and approachable style.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and sound judgment.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and payroll or timekeeping support processes is preferred.
Compensation
