Talent Acquisition Specialist

Compensation: $30.40 to $35.20 Hourly

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruiting efforts for a growing construction and contractor organization in Irvine, California. This Long-term Contract position will manage hiring activities across multiple business areas and states, helping attract talent with relevant experience while keeping the process organized, compliant, and candidate-focused. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing sourcing, coordination, and stakeholder communication in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for openings across construction, operations, and corporate support teams in multiple states.
• Identify and engage prospective candidates through online sourcing tools, networking platforms, referrals, and internal talent resources.
• Arrange interviews, coordinate schedules with hiring teams, and serve as a primary point of contact for applicants throughout the selection process.
• Provide clear and timely communication to candidates to maintain a positive hiring experience.
• Work closely with HR partners and compliance stakeholders to ensure hiring activities align with company policies and required documentation standards.
• Keep candidate records, requisition updates, and recruiting activity accurately maintained within the applicant tracking system.
• Support hiring managers with recruitment progress updates and help move openings forward efficiently.
• Assist with administrative recruiting tasks using Microsoft Office and phone-based communication tools as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a closely related hiring support role.
• Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Experience sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other relevant channels.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to handle inbound calls and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort working in applicant tracking systems or similar databases.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow established hiring and compliance procedures.
• Customer-service mindset with a focus on delivering a smooth and positive candidate experience.

Compensation

$30.40-$35.20 Hourly
