SEO Content Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SEO Content Manager to lead the development and execution of content strategies that increase organic traffic, improve search visibility, and drive customer engagement and conversions.

This role combines SEO expertise, content strategy, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure all content supports business objectives while delivering value to target audiences. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of search engine optimization, content marketing, user experience, and performance analytics.


Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Optimization

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and search rankings.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and content gap assessments.
  • Optimize on-page SEO elements, including titles, metadata, headings, internal linking, and content structure.
  • Partner with web development teams to implement technical SEO best practices.
  • Monitor search algorithm updates and adjust strategies as needed.

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Create and manage an SEO-driven content roadmap aligned with business priorities.
  • Develop editorial calendars and content plans that support customer acquisition and engagement goals.
  • Identify opportunities for new content, content refreshes, and content consolidation.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand standards and customer needs.

Content Development

  • Lead the creation, editing, and optimization of website content, blog articles, landing pages, resource centers, and product content.
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, subject matter experts, and marketing teams to produce high-quality content.
  • Ensure content follows SEO best practices while maintaining readability and user value.
  • Optimize existing content to improve rankings and conversion performance.

Analytics & Performance Reporting

  • Monitor organic traffic, keyword rankings, engagement metrics, and conversion performance.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to communicate SEO and content performance.
  • Analyze user behavior and content effectiveness to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations based on data and performance insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, content, web, UX, product, and development teams.
  • Support integrated marketing campaigns through SEO-focused content initiatives.
  • Align content strategies with broader digital marketing and business objectives.
  • Educate stakeholders on SEO best practices and content optimization standards.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in SEO, content marketing, digital marketing, or content strategy.
  • Proven track record of increasing organic traffic, search visibility, and content performance.
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles.
  • Experience developing and managing content strategies and editorial calendars.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and content optimization skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing enterprise or high-volume websites.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Knowledge of UX and customer journey best practices.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms and web publishing workflows.
  • Background in e-commerce, publishing, SaaS, consumer brands, or agency environments.
