Help Desk Tier I
Robert Half is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to identify a Help Desk Tier I Specialist (contract). In this role, you will provide technical support and ensure a positive user experience across a growing technology environment. This individual will troubleshoot hardware, software, and application issues, document resolutions, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical challenges efficiently. This role is in onsite in Bee Cave, Tx.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support for end users via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, account access, and application-related issues.
- Escalate complex technical problems to appropriate teams while maintaining ownership of user communication.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps in accordance with support procedures.
- Assist with system updates, software deployments, and technology rollouts.
- Test and validate reported issues to help identify root causes and support resolution efforts.
- Monitor support requests to ensure timely follow-up and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in after-hours or on-call support as needed.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a help desk, desktop support, service desk, or technical support role preferred.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using ticketing or incident management systems.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktop hardware, and common business applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Reliable, customer-service oriented, and committed to delivering a high level of support.

Compensation
