HR Training Coordinator

Schedule • Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
About the Role
The Staff Training Coordinator serves as the primary HR training liaison between Center staff and the corporate team. This role provides essential training oversight and supports the planning, scheduling, development, marketing, communication, and facilitation of training programs aligned with corporate initiatives. The position is ideal for individuals who bring strong organizational, communication, and instructional development skills.
This role is well‑suited for professionals with experience in:
• Workforce development or employee training
• Curriculum development and facilitation
• Case management, counseling, or work with diverse populations
• Virtual and in‑person instructional delivery
• Collaboration with multi‑level leadership teams
Your work supports the effective implementation of staff training programs and contributes to a productive and positive center culture.
What You’ll Do
Training Development & Coordination
• Identify and prioritize course development needs.
• Locate internal and external content experts.
• Assist in the creation and refinement of course materials.
• Conduct pilot testing for content and process validation.
• Deliver training materials and conduct follow‑up evaluations.
Training Delivery Oversight
• Establish and maintain training delivery schedules.
• Support marketing and communication of training programs.
• Identify and coordinate external training vendors.
• Schedule and support instructors for training delivery.
• Evaluate instructor performance and manage instructor evaluations.
Learning Management System Administration (DWFS)
• Input and maintain course delivery schedules.
• Monitor and update LMS content as required.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Project Directors, Center Directors, Managers, Program Managers, and corporate staff.
Culture, Ethics & Safety Support
• Clearly communicate and consistently model essential employability skills, including responsibility and computer fluency.
• Maintain oversight of senior management activities as directed.
• Uphold accountability of staff, students, and property while following safety procedures.
• Coordinate with subcontracted staff to ensure smooth center operations.
• Maintain a score of 75% or higher on the employee scorecard.

Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Social Work, Education, or related field.
• Experience in Workforce Development preferred.
• At least two years of experience working with diverse populations in training, case management, or counseling roles.
• Experience leading work activities in both face‑to‑face and virtual environments.
• Demonstrated experience developing and delivering practical, competency‑based virtual and live training sessions.
• Experience working with youth preferred.
Certifications & Competencies
• Strong ability to work effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and management staff.
• Knowledge of interpersonal communication fundamentals, including interviewing, problem‑solving, and cultural communication styles.
• Strong writing skills for clear, concise, and persuasive reporting.
• Ability to promote Career Success Standards (CSS) through modeling, mentoring, and behavioral monitoring.
• Logical reasoning, sound judgment, and strong decision‑making competency.
• Commitment to outstanding customer service and confidentiality.
• Computer proficiency.

• Knowledge of training and development systems and methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Project management experience.
• Strong writing, editing, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Personal initiative and ability to work independently.
Physical Demands / Work Environment
Physical requirements include:
• Carrying/lifting up to 5 lbs frequently; up to 10 lbs regularly; up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Visual acuity, speech, hearing, manual dexterity, and coordination needed to drive and operate standard office equipment.
• Activities include carrying, lifting, twisting, and reaching as required for essential job functions.
• Work is primarily performed in an office environment, with occasional travel to other locations.
Eligibility Requirements
• If driving is required, must hold a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable record.
• I‑9 documentation verifying authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to successfully pass a post‑offer background check and drug test.
