Job Summary
Work with the Pediatric Pulmonary division in the clinic setting performing spirometry testing and asthma/pulmonary education to the patient population group served. Work with the adult cystic fibrosis patient population in performing education as well as spirometry testing as needed. Provide care for patients throughout the hospital and clinics to achieve the plans and goals of the health care providers toward the expected outcome of the patient care process. Provide education and resource coordination to the inpatient pediatric and adult cystic fibrosis patients.

Responsible for ordering of and maintaining adequate supplies for the pulmonary function lab. Coordinate outside resources such as pulmonary rehabilitation referrals, DME referrals, and oxygen set-up. Occasional travel to pediatric pulmonary outreach clinic. Work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team model.

Associate’s degree plus one or more years experience performing spirometry testing preferred.
