About the Job
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Tailored Brands Real Estate team as Facilities Utilities and Programs Manager. In this role, you will maintain databases of processes, communications, and historical project costs to support future budgeting. This position requires responding to and tracking emergency escalations, partnering with field teams to ensure store conditions meet standards, and utilizing vendor metrics and scorecards to hold service providers accountable. Additionally, you will prepare quarterly supplier data, track asset management and repairs through the CMMS system, and develop communication cadences for CAPEX and preventative maintenance programs. This role is an in-office position based in Dublin, California and reports to the Senior Manager of Facilities Programs
What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
• Maintain databases and dashboards of facilities processes, communications, store logs, program documentation, and operational records to support portfolio-wide consistency and execution.
• Respond to and track emergency project escalations, including issues resulting from planned maintenance, overnight projects, and service interruptions; communicate potential business disruptions and resolution plans to leadership
• Maintain historical projects, repair, utility, and program cost data to support annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts.
• Partner with Store Operations, field leadership, and service providers to support store conditions, maintenance processes, and facilities program execution across the portfolio.
• Manage and support facilities-related opening and closing processes for stores, partnering with cross-functional teams to coordinate utilities, maintenance services, asset management, vendor activities, and operational readiness milestones.
• Utilize vendor performance metrics, scorecards, and service-level expectations to drive accountability, continuous improvement, and high standards of service delivery.
• Prepare, validate, analyze, and distribute quarterly and ad hoc supplier performance data, operational metrics, and program reporting.
• Track and maintain asset management, repair, preventative maintenance, and facilities program information within the CMMS and other Facilities Management platforms.
• Develop and maintain communication cadences and reporting for capital projects, preventative maintenance programs, facilities initiatives, and operational performance metrics.
• Administer utility programs, including electricity, natural gas, water, sewer, and other facility-related services, ensuring service continuity across the store portfolio using a third-party dashboard to strategically provide CAPEX spend guidance.
• Monitor utility usage, expenses, billing accuracy, and consumption trends; identify savings opportunities, investigate discrepancies, and support resolution efforts with utility providers and internal partners.
• Manage waste, recycling, and other environmental service programs across the portfolio to ensure operational consistency, cost effectiveness, and service compliance.
• Monitor waste and recycling expenses, service levels, diversion metrics, and vendor performance; identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and program standardization across facilities operations, utilities, and waste management programs.
What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree Construction sciences or other related fields
• 5-7 years commercial retail facilities maintenance or construction.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
• Ability to provide analytic results but also strategic recommendations that drive the business forward.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point).
• Experience with Computerized Stores Facilities Management Technology (ServiceChannel) and third-party utility aggregator provider platforms (Engie, Cass, Schneider)
• Ability to assign priority to multiple requests simultaneously and remain composed under pressure.
• Able to manage external and internal business partners across multiple projects simultaneously while building solid relationships with team members, vendors, and internal customers.
• Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to produce compelling PowerPoint decks that provide clear recommendations and can be used for executive presentations.

• Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
• Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
• Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from Houston, Texas or Dublin, California office location

The starting salary for this position is $76,398-$101,847 actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. Over time, and subject to performance, tenure, and evolving responsibilities, total compensation for this role may grow. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable
