Are you ready to put your years of experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, our Defense Systems Sector is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  

 

You will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS). IMS provides sustainment support for the US Air Force B-1, KC-135, and numerous other Government platforms. Our team members complete engineering, reverse engineering, and logistics solution efforts to solve complex obsolescence problems and ensure warfighter supportability. 

 

The ideal candidate will be required to apply engineering principles to act as the liaison between engineering definition and production areas. The individual will have basic knowledge of manufacturing techniques and problem solving in order to contribute to the timely planning and execution of mechanical production, integration and test of aircraft assemblies. Typical tasking of this role may include: 

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze complex electronic circuitry and precision electro-mechanical assemblies through simulation or analysis in order to recommend component substitutions or re-design solutions to ensure the integrity of the platform configuration, system safety, and performance specifications 
  • Access, interpret, and recommend changes to engineering drawings 
  • Establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline  
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) secret security clearance 
  • Ability to obtain/maintain base access to Tinker AFB 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with aerospace systems 
  • Experience with SKILL or Python is a plus 
  • Experience with RF systems 
  • Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot/repair hardware components 
  • Experience with CAD or similar design tools  
  • Excellent communication skills 

 

Primary Level Salary Range: $62,300.00 - $93,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
