The Flight Systems Futures operating unit within Strategic Deterrent Systems is seeking highly motivated talent to join a team at the forefront of next-generation hypersonic capabilities. Our team focuses on the design, development, and demonstration of hypersonic re-entry vehicles and advanced payloads, with an emphasis on rapid development and prototyping aligned to specific customer missions. What You Will Get To DO:
- Directing all phases of program from inception through completion
- Responsibility for the cost, schedule and technical performance of tooling programs
- Acting as customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Establishing milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications
- Directing the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas
- Collaborating across program and functional teams and ensure on-time execution
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks (e.g. technical, cost, schedule, legal, security) and maintaining risk register and ensuring corrective actions are tracked and closed
- Strategically managing NCTA budgets (B&P and M&S) with financial rigor and predictability

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You Will Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience, OR a Master’s degree and 6 years of related experience as defined below
- Must be a U.S citizen and have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance within scope with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP)
- At least 6 years of experience leading a Program / Projects and driving performance against a schedule.
- Experience in project management/ execution and closeout
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EV) in an applicable system
These Qualifications Are Nice To Have:
- Background/experience in rapid development and prototyping
- Background/experience in ICBM programs
- Experience with test planning and coordination
- Already SAP briefed
- PMP Certificate
- Current Northrop Grumman CAM Certification
- Current Program Access Request (PAR)
- Functional and/or Assignment manager experience
- Supplier Management experience
- 6 years of experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
- Functional and/or Assignment manager experience

- Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability in prioritizing multiple tasks
