Compensation Accountant

Location: Boston, Back Bay (3 days in office/week)

Comp: $90-110k + bonus  

Our client, an international consulting firm, is seeking a Compensation Accountant to join their accounting team.

Responsibilities:

-Manage payroll, bonus, equity, and benefits accounting.

-Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close support.

-Partner cross-functionally on compensation reporting and analysis.

Support audits, controls, and accounting compliance.

-Assist with process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.

-Contribute to global compensation accounting activities.

Qualifications:

Keys:

1. 3+ years
2. Public accounting experience
3. CPA
4. Some equity and compensation accounting exposure. ASC 718
