Document Controller
Responsibilities:
• Oversee controlled documents within electronic repositories, ensuring files are properly organized, updated, and stored for easy retrieval.
• Coordinate document changes by assigning tracking numbers, monitoring progress, and maintaining complete supporting records.
• Prepare, revise, and format documentation using Microsoft Word and Excel to support quality and engineering activities.
• Produce and maintain labels with Bartender software in alignment with documentation and operational needs.
• Respond to internal requests for controlled records by locating, distributing, and tracking the appropriate materials.
• Support document lifecycle activities such as revision routing, approval follow-up, and version maintenance.
• Verify that records meet internal quality expectations and applicable regulatory documentation standards.
• Work closely with Quality and Engineering partners to keep documentation accurate across multiple active projects and priorities.
Qualifications:
• Experience in document control, records coordination, administrative documentation, or a similar support function.• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to manage electronic files and quickly locate information within structured document systems.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and a consistent approach to accuracy.
• Ability to balance multiple assignments and adjust effectively to shifting deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused internal service approach.
• Background in a regulated setting such as healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Familiarity with controlled documentation processes, quality systems, change control workflows, or Bartender labeling software is a plus.
Compensation
