Finance Manager

Compensation: $110 to $130 Yearly

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to support reporting, compliance, and financial analysis activities in Danville, Virginia. This role partners with finance, operations, HR, legal, and leadership teams to deliver accurate submissions, strengthen reporting controls, and provide insight that supports sound business decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, a disciplined approach to regulatory requirements, and a track record of improving reporting processes in a complex operating environment.


Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit required filings and reports to federal, state, and local agencies within established deadlines.

• Consolidate financial and operational information for compliance reporting related to manufacturing activity, public funding programs, tax incentives, and environmental obligations.

• Oversee reporting connected to grants, abatements, workforce initiatives, economic development commitments, and capital investment agreements.

• Maintain complete supporting records for audits, certifications, and regulatory reviews while safeguarding data accuracy and confidentiality.

• Identify reporting gaps, inconsistencies, and compliance risks, then implement corrective actions and stronger controls.

• Create standardized templates, tracking tools, and reporting procedures that improve consistency, efficiency, and transparency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather data, resolve issues, and ensure reporting outputs align with business and regulatory expectations.

• Analyze reporting metrics and operational results to highlight trends, support planning, and recommend process improvements.

• Contribute to automation and digital reporting initiatives that reduce manual effort and strengthen data integrity


Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in audit, regulatory reporting, or a related finance role.

• Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, financial modeling, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting.

• Experience with federal government reporting, government contracts, grants administration, or similar compliance-driven environments.

• Strong knowledge of audit support practices, documentation standards, and regulatory submission requirements.

• Ability to mine, organize, and interpret large data sets with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Proven ability to work across departments and communicate effectively with both operational teams and senior leadership.

• Strong judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive financial and compliance information.


Compensation

$110,000.00-$130,000.00 Yearly
