HR Generalist
Responsibilities:
• Build and implement essential HR programs, policies, and procedures to support an organization that is developing its formal human resources function.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance, addressing workplace concerns, and helping resolve sensitive issues effectively.
• Administer benefits activities, including employee enrollment support, coordination with vendors, and ongoing communication related to available programs.
• Partner with leadership to support compensation practices, performance review processes, and other initiatives that promote fair and consistent employee management.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee files, HR documentation, and personnel records in accordance with internal standards and applicable regulations.
• Oversee payroll-related workflows by reviewing inputs, coordinating with the appropriate parties, and helping ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Lead onboarding activities for new hires, including documentation, orientation support, and a smooth introduction to company policies and expectations.
• Use HR systems and administrative tools to track employee information, improve record accuracy, and support efficient HR operations.
• Conduct or support workplace investigations as needed, document findings carefully, and recommend appropriate follow-up actions.
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of progressive human resources experience, including broad exposure to generalist responsibilities.• Demonstrated ability to establish HR processes, policies, and structure in an environment without a fully developed HR department.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, HR administration, onboarding, and benefits coordination.
• Experience supporting compensation and benefits programs, including administration and employee communication.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and the ability to manage employee data with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters professionally, including investigations, recordkeeping, and compliance-related documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and partner effectively with leadership.
Compensation
