Staff Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and reconcile payroll entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage corporate tax and sales tax reporting, adhering to local and international regulations.
• Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger to support financial accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to address tax-related matters and provide financial insights.
• Utilize accounting software such as ADP, Workday, SAP, or Oracle to streamline processes.
• Support international accounting tasks and ensure alignment with global standards.
• Provide coverage for maternity leave, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity.
• Participate in interviews and stakeholder meetings to align on expectations and deliverables.
• Work onsite three times a week to maintain effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in corporate tax reporting and compliance.• Proficiency in sales tax calculations and filings.
• Strong knowledge of journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as ADP, Workday, SAP, or Oracle.
• International accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work onsite three times per week as required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Compensation
