Sr. Financial Analyst

Portland, OR 97209-4125, US Remote Temporary
Compensation: $59.38 to $68.75 Hourly

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to join a team in Portland, Oregon in a Long-term Contract position. This role focuses on annual planning, consolidated P& L development, and high-impact financial analysis that supports business decision-making. The ideal candidate brings strong budgeting experience, advanced modeling capability, and a collaborative approach to working with finance partners and organizational leaders.

Responsibilities:
• Lead annual planning activities by translating financial inputs into clear forecasts, budgets, and business recommendations.
• Build and refine complex financial models to evaluate performance, support scenario planning, and guide investment-related decisions.
• Prepare consolidated profit and loss reporting by combining planning outputs and validating the accuracy of underlying assumptions.
• Perform variance analysis to identify key financial drivers, explain results, and highlight risks or opportunities to stakeholders.
• Partner closely with finance business partners and cross-functional leaders to gather inputs and align planning assumptions across teams.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and data-driven reviews to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Use data mining and analytical techniques to uncover trends, improve reporting quality, and strengthen financial insights.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience owning a budget or working within a corporate FP& A environment.
• Strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and annual planning processes.
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including the ability to build detailed and decision-oriented models.
• Proven ability to perform variance analysis and explain financial performance clearly to business stakeholders.
• Experience working collaboratively across functions and partnering with leaders in multiple organizations.
• Ability to manage ad hoc analysis requests in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using data analysis and data mining techniques to support financial reporting and insights.

Compensation

$59.38-$68.75 Hourly
