Real Estate Associate
Responsibilities:
• Advise on complex commercial real estate matters involving purchases, sales, and broader transactional activities.
• Support clients through real estate acquisitions, property dispositions, leasing arrangements, and related business transactions.
• Represent a diverse client base that may include financial institutions, property owners, developers, and participants in mixed-use and retail projects.
• Assist with matters tied to development projects, including construction-related issues and multiple stages of real estate financing.
• Prepare and review legal documents such as covenants, easements, and use restrictions connected to commercial properties.
• Collaborate on transactions involving commercial lending structures, from initial deal planning through closing.
• Contribute to business planning considerations that intersect with real estate and lending objectives.
• Manage ongoing transactional work across a busy practice with exposure to a wide variety of commercial property matters.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in commercial real estate law or a closely related transactional practice.
• Demonstrated background handling commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, or leasing matters.
• Working knowledge of commercial lending concepts and financing transactions.
• Experience drafting and negotiating real estate documents, including covenants, easements, or restrictive agreements.
• Ability to manage multiple matters effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with sophisticated clients.
• Sound judgment and attention to detail when reviewing contracts and coordinating transactional documents.
