TaxDome SME

We are looking for an experienced TaxDome SME to support a contract engagement with a CPA firm in Boca Raton, Florida. This role will evaluate how the platform is currently being used, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and consistency, and help establish stronger operating standards across multiple offices. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with TaxDome in an accounting services environment and can translate best practices into practical guidance for end users.

Responsibilities:
• Review current TaxDome usage across five office locations and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for standardization.
• Design and apply improved platform configurations that strengthen workflow performance, document handling, and day-to-day team adoption.
• Deliver hands-on training and coaching to staff, ensuring teams understand recommended processes and can use the system effectively.
• Develop and refine custom workflows that support accounting operations, including tax, audit, and related client service activities.
• Advise leadership on proven TaxDome best practices to improve consistency, visibility, and operational control.
• Assess data workflow structures and support file conversion efforts where needed to improve system organization and usability.
• Create practical documentation, process guidance, and usage standards to help sustain improvements after implementation.
• Partner with stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business needs in a services environment.

Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of overall relevant experience, including 3+ years working directly with TaxDome in an accounting services setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in TaxDome platform configuration, optimization, and user enablement.
• Preferred TaxDome certification or comparable recognized platform credentials.
• Background supporting CPA firms or similar services organizations is strongly preferred.
• Experience building or improving data workflows, custom workflows, and process automation within financial or accounting operations.
• Knowledge of corporate income tax processes, audit-related documentation, and client file management practices.
• Strong communication and training skills with the ability to guide teams across multiple office locations.
• Comfortable assessing existing processes, recommending best practices, and driving practical operational improvements.

Compensation

$57.00-$66.00 Hourly
