IT Director(Data)
Responsibilities:
• Define and drive the organization’s data strategy, aligning governance, engineering, and analytics priorities with broader business goals.
• Lead and develop teams responsible for data management, reporting, and platform delivery, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Establish practical standards for data quality, stewardship, security, and lifecycle management across enterprise systems.
• Oversee the design and optimization of modern data environments using platforms and tools such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Partner with executive stakeholders and operational leaders to identify opportunities where analytics can improve planning, performance, and decision-making.
• Champion enterprise adoption of data-focused frameworks, policies, and change initiatives that improve consistency and organizational transparency.
• Translate business needs into scalable data solutions, including initiatives supporting forecasting, asset insights, customer engagement, and other operational use cases.
• Monitor delivery outcomes, prioritize investments, and ensure data programs meet regulatory, operational, and organizational expectations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information systems, business administration, or a related discipline.• At least 7 years of experience in information technology, data and analytics, or a comparable field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role focused on data strategy, governance, engineering, or analytics.
• Demonstrated knowledge of data governance principles, data engineering practices, and enterprise data management standards.
• Hands-on familiarity with current data technologies, including tools such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide teams through organizational change.
• Experience working with recognized governance or operational frameworks, along with a commitment to transparency, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
• Valid driver’s license.
Compensation
$160,000.00-$250,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
