Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Support weekly payroll activities by reviewing time records, confirming reported hours, and preparing information for processing
• Compile and organize payroll details from multiple Excel files to maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting
• Monitor employee hours by project or job site and keep supporting records properly documented
• Enter payroll and employee data into company platforms while checking entries for completeness and accuracy
• Maintain payroll files, compliance documents, and related administrative records in an orderly manner
• Assist with certified payroll reporting, garnishment paperwork, and follow-up on outstanding labor compliance items
• Communicate with internal staff to resolve missing timesheets, payroll discrepancies, or incomplete documentation
• Help update wage rates, provide backup coverage for team members when needed, and contribute to general office reporting and administrative support
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in administrative support, payroll support, or related office operations• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with spreadsheets used for data tracking and reporting
• Ability to perform detailed data entry with a high level of accuracy and consistency
• Experience handling confidential employee or payroll information with discretion and professionalism
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage records, documents, and multiple priorities effectively
• Clear communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and resolving missing or incomplete information
• Familiarity with general administrative office duties, including reception or inbound call support, is preferred
