Compensation: $50 to $65 Yearly

Our client, a well-established and collegial downtown Minneapolis law firm, is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys with a practice focused primarily on evictions litigation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, answering phones, and handling mail.
  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical client files.
  • Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and court filings.
  • Assist with eviction matters by preparing complaints and related documents for attorney review.
  • File and track cases through the Minnesota Courts e-Filing system.
  • Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties regarding case matters.
  • Conduct basic legal and public records research, including court and business record searches.
  • Monitor deadlines, court dates, and case activity.
  • Provide general litigation and administrative support to attorneys and the legal team.



Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a law firm or other legal support role (litigation focused).
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with legal billing or case management software is preferred.
  • Professional, dependable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
