Robert Half Legal is partnering with an innovative, rapidly growing technology organization seeking a Director of Commercial Operations to serve as a strategic business leader supporting complex commercial transactions, revenue growth initiatives, customer engagement, contracting operations, and continuous process improvement.
This newly created leadership role offers the opportunity to build scalable commercial infrastructure, enhance governance and operational excellence, and partner with executive leadership during a period of significant organizational growth and transformation.

๐ฏ What You'll Do
โ Lead commercial operations strategy, execution, and process optimization across the organization
โ Drive forecasting, reporting, analytics, order management, and revenue-supporting initiatives
โ Oversee complex commercial agreements, contract negotiations, proposal responses, and deal execution
โ Partner cross-functionally with sales, finance, legal, operations, product, and executive leadership to ensure successful customer engagements
โ Develop scalable contracting playbooks, governance frameworks, and approval processes
โ Guide negotiations involving enterprise customers, SaaS agreements, master service agreements, maintenance and support agreements, and other complex commercial arrangements
โ Identify opportunities to leverage technology, AI, automation, and contract lifecycle management tools to improve efficiency and business outcomes
โ Create and implement best practices that increase productivity, reduce risk, and improve customer experience
โ Lead, mentor, and influence teams both directly and indirectly across multiple business functions
โ Serve as a bridge between executive strategy and operational execution, helping the organization scale while maintaining a competitive advantage
Qualifications:
๐ What We're Looking For - Director of Commercial Operations Position
โ 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial operations, sales operations, contract management, deal desk, revenue operations, business operations, or related leadership functions
โ Proven experience negotiating and supporting complex commercial transactions with sophisticated enterprise customers
โ Strong background in governance, process improvement, workflow optimization, and operational scalability
โ Experience partnering with legal teams on commercial contracting matters while leading business-side negotiations
โ Demonstrated success implementing technology solutions, automation initiatives, CLM systems, AI tools, or digital transformation projects
โ Ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders and navigate complex organizational environments
โ Executive presence with exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
โ Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree a plus
