Senior Fund Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to support fund accounting and operational finance activities across multiple investment vehicles and the management company. This is an outstanding opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their expertise in private equity while taking on meaningful responsibility in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

·        Manage day-to-day accounting activities for private equity funds and the management company.

·        Prepare financial reports, investor communications, and fund performance reporting each quarter.

·        Oversee capital activity, including investor funding, distributions, and fee calculations.

·        Support audits, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance by coordinating with external partners.

·        Analyze portfolio company financial information and assist with new investment onboarding.

·        Drive process improvements by enhancing accounting systems, leveraging AI tools, and supporting strategic operational initiatives.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

·        2+ years of experience in private equity fund accounting, fund administration, or public accounting with financial services clients.

·        CPA designation or active CPA candidate preferred.

·        Experience using AI tools for data collection, analysis, reporting.

·        Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with investors, auditors, and senior leadership.

Compensation

$110,000.00-$140,000.00 Yearly
