Accounts Receivable Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and issue customer invoices with a high level of accuracy and within established timelines.
• Oversee outstanding receivables by tracking open balances, reviewing aging activity, and following up on past-due payments.
• Apply incoming payments, record cash activity, and help maintain complete and current account balances.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate billing discrepancies to support timely resolution.
• Create and update financial reports in Excel while maintaining reliable records and supporting documentation.
• Respond to questions from clients and internal teams regarding invoicing, payment status, and account details.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to accounting operations as needed to help maintain workflow efficiency.
• Organize billing and receivables documentation to ensure data integrity and easy access for review.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a closely related accounting support role.• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filtering, sorting, and data organization.
• Hands-on experience with accounts receivable processes such as collections, cash applications, billing functions, and cash activity.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Comfortable working in a fully on-site office environment.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is preferred.
• Prior exposure to engineering, architecture, consulting, or other services billing environments is a plus.
Compensation
