Cash Application Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Process and apply a high volume of incoming cash payments with strong attention to accuracy and timeliness.
• Record customer payments and update account information to support effective accounts receivable operations.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a courteous and attentive manner, providing assistance related to payment activity and account details.
• Perform routine administrative work such as organizing records, entering data, and maintaining documentation.
• Use computer-based tools to navigate systems, review payment information, and complete daily transaction tasks.
• Support cash posting activities by verifying payment details and resolving straightforward discrepancies when they arise.
Qualifications:
• Experience with cash application, cash posting, or payment posting in an accounting or finance-related setting.• Working knowledge of accounts receivable processes and customer payment handling.
• Ability to manage large volumes of cash-related transactions with accuracy and consistency.
• Detail-oriented approach with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using a computer for data entry, navigation, and day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a structured environment.
Compensation
