Sr. Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Drive execution of key finance objectives for the U.S. operation while coordinating effectively with global counterparts on shared accounting priorities.
• Support the development, implementation, and improvement of financial policies, controls, and operating procedures in partnership with the Financial Controller.
• Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and knowledge sharing to accounting staff to promote accuracy and consistency across the department.
• Oversee accounting and audit-related activities to help ensure records are complete, compliant, and aligned with company standards.
• Prepare, update, and refine financial procedures, budgeting practices, and periodic planning activities for quarterly and annual business needs.
• Produce timely financial statements, management reports, and analytical insights to assist leadership with operational and strategic decisions.
• Lead cost monitoring efforts by tracking expenses, identifying trends, and recommending actions that support stronger financial performance.
• Perform cost forecasting, variance review, and profitability analysis to help the organization meet financial targets.
• Handle additional accounting and finance assignments as business needs evolve.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of accounting or finance experience, with overall relevant experience typically ranging from 6 to 10 years preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of month-end close activities, general ledger management, and journal entry preparation.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience applying accounting standards in a business environment.
• Familiarity with financial systems and online accounting platforms used for reporting and transaction management.
• Knowledge of U.S. tax regulations; exposure to international or cross-border financial practices is beneficial.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and with international teams.
• Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
Compensation
