Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst with experience in both manual and automated testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing test automation frameworks, validating data across SQL and NoSQL databases, and collaborating with Agile development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
• Build and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Validate data integrity, accuracy, and performance using SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Couchbase, etc.).
• Execute API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured, or Swagger.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Create and maintain automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Develop test metrics and quality reports to communicate testing progress and application readiness.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Perform root cause analysis on production issues and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience with a mix of manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
• Strong experience writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience querying and validating data in NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, or Couchbase.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Zephyr, TestRail, or HP ALM.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
