Attorney/Lawyer
Responsibilities:
• Review, draft, and negotiate technology-focused commercial agreements with accuracy and sound legal judgment.
• Prepare and revise contract language, redlines, and supporting terms for a variety of business transactions.
• Advise internal partners on key account agreements and help align contract terms with operational and business objectives.
• Manage legal documentation connected to live events, including attendee registration, speaker arrangements, and related program materials.
• Support contract needs for education and training initiatives by ensuring agreements are complete, enforceable, and business-ready.
• Use electronic signature platforms and contract administration tools to route, execute, and track agreements efficiently.
• Respond to contract requests with a high level of speed, precision, and autonomy expected of a practicing attorney.
• Complete a drafting and redlining assessment prior to the start of the assignment as part of the hiring process.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience serving in a corporate counsel or comparable in-house legal role.
• Active bar admission required; New Jersey licensure is preferred, though candidates barred in Pennsylvania or New York will also be considered.
• Demonstrated strength in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, particularly technology-related agreements, including SaaS.
• Ability to handle redlining and contract revisions at a level beyond standard contract administration support.
• Comfort working with electronic signature systems and legal technology used to manage agreement workflows.
• Availability to work on-site in Ewing, New Jersey at least two days per week, with the possibility of three days in the office.
• Background as a licensed attorney with strong legal writing skills, including experience with motions, briefing, discovery, or related legal analysis.
