Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to support payroll and benefits operations for a financial services organization in Orlando, Florida. This Long-term Contract position will focus on accurate payroll execution, benefits billing coordination, and responsive employee support. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with multi-state payroll, reconciliation work, and service-oriented problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Process end-to-end payroll activities with a high level of accuracy and adherence to established deadlines.
• Administer multi-state payroll transactions, ensuring pay calculations, deductions, and withholdings are handled correctly.
• Reconcile monthly benefits invoices against internal records and prepare documentation for timely payment submission.
• Coordinate with benefits providers to investigate discrepancies, resolve billing issues, and confirm account accuracy.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee payroll and benefits questions, delivering clear and timely support.
• Review payroll data for inconsistencies, research exceptions, and take corrective action when needed.
• Maintain accurate records and support compliance with applicable payroll policies, tax requirements, and reporting standards.
• Utilize Paycom and related systems to manage payroll processing, reporting, and employee data updates.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience managing full cycle payroll in a detail-oriented business environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of multi-state payroll practices, including taxes, deductions, and compliance considerations.
• Background in benefits administration with experience reconciling carrier invoices and payment records.
• Proficiency with Paycom for payroll processing, reporting, and data maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
• Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach when supporting employee inquiries.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines and prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.

Compensation

$28.50-$33.00 Hourly
