Recruiter
We are looking for a Recruiter to support hiring efforts for a Long-term Contract position based in Illinois. This role is ideal for someone who can combine proactive talent outreach with strong candidate management to keep recruiting activity moving efficiently. You will partner with internal stakeholders, engage both active and passive talent, and help deliver a smooth experience from first contact through onboarding support.
Responsibilities:
• Build and carry out strategic sourcing approaches that identify and attract talent with relevant experience through multiple recruiting channels, including passive candidate outreach.
• Manage the recruitment process from initial candidate identification through screening, interview scheduling, offer coordination, and pre-employment support activities.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines for immediate openings as well as anticipated future hiring needs by mapping target profiles and tracking market talent.
• Keep candidate information current and well-documented within applicant tracking and recruiting systems, including communication history, evaluations, and hiring progress.
• Work closely with hiring teams and internal partners to align recruiting activity with business needs and provide support on additional projects as required.
• Handle a high volume of daily inbound and outbound candidate calls, with activity levels typically ranging from 50 to 75 contacts per day.
• Monitor and manage the incoming call queue to ensure timely responses and consistent communication with prospective candidates.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting within a corporate environment.
• Strong background in candidate sourcing, including outreach to passive talent across multiple channels.
• Ability to conduct candidate screenings and interviews while assessing fit against role requirements.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and maintaining accurate recruitment records.
• Comfortable leveraging social media and other recruiting tools to expand candidate reach.
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
The pay range for this position is $19 to $22.
