Inventory Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support a Contract assignment in Lakeland, Florida. This position focuses on warehouse inventory counting and accurate data entry, helping maintain reliable stock records in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working around palletized goods, follows instructions carefully, and takes pride in producing precise results.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct physical counts of palletized inventory throughout the warehouse and record quantities accurately.
• Enter count information into Excel spreadsheets with a high level of precision and consistency.
• Compare counted quantities with recorded figures and flag discrepancies for review.
• Organize inventory data clearly so results can be tracked and reviewed efficiently.
• Work closely with team members to complete counting assignments within established timelines.
• Maintain attention to detail while moving between warehouse counting tasks and spreadsheet updates.
• Follow workplace safety expectations and dress appropriately for a casual warehouse setting.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in inventory control, stock counting, or warehouse support.
• Strong data entry accuracy with the ability to work confidently in Excel.
• Ability to track and document inventory results in an organized manner.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free work.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment around palletized products.
• Able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive counting tasks during the shift.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.

Compensation

$19.00-$22.00 Hourly
