FP& A Manager

We are looking for an FP& A Manager to provide hands-on financial planning and analysis support for a long-term contract opportunity in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role will help strengthen reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities while supporting business leaders with timely financial insights. The position is well suited for a finance specialist who can manage detailed month-end activities, build practical models, and improve decision-making through clear analysis.

Responsibilities:
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support business performance and operational goals.
• Prepare financial models and scenario analyses that help leadership evaluate trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Manage monthly close-related finance tasks, including manual reporting processes and analysis needed to meet deadlines.
• Deliver accurate variance analysis and explain key drivers affecting results across the business.
• Partner with directors and cross-functional stakeholders to provide actionable recommendations based on financial data.
• Support reporting and planning needs within small business lending or closely related financial operations.
• Use Excel and other planning tools to organize data, enhance reporting quality, and improve efficiency.
• Contribute to finance process improvements and provide support for planning activities tied to future OneStream adoption.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Strong background in building financial models and interpreting complex financial data for business decision-making.
• Experience supporting annual budget cycles and delivering meaningful variance and trend analysis.
• Knowledge of monthly financial close activities and the ability to work through detailed manual processes.
• Familiarity with small business lending, commercial finance, or a comparable financial services environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create clear, reliable, and efficient analysis tools.
• Ability to communicate financial insights effectively and collaborate with leaders across multiple functions.

Compensation

$47.50-$55.00 Hourly
