Warehouse Clerk

Leidos Digital Sector is currently seeking a Warehouse Clerk to be located at Joint Base Anacostia Bolling in Washington DC. As the Warehouse Clerk you will be supporting the AFNCR (Air Force National Capital Region) by managing assets in a Theater Warehouse setting.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for tracking and reporting on all accountable hardware for the AFNCR contract.

  • Utilizing the PC Tech Refresh plan, execute against that plan, and report status against that plan.

  • With the warehouse team, produce monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables as required by the contract.

  • Coordinate with Government Equipment Control Officers (ECOs) to maintain synchronization between our inventories and each ECO’s inventory, including synchronization between Remedy and DPAS.

  • Travel is required to bases within the National Capital Region and will account for less than 10% of the job.

  • Sanitize and inventory accountable assets and process via DLAD and UNICOR

  • Perform weekly, quarterly, and annual inventories on warehouse equipment.

  • Ensure orders are properly packed and labeled

  • Verify product and product count is accurate

  • Housekeeping duties as part of daily routine or as directed

  • Receive and deploy assets while accurately track/updating a CMDB.

  • Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming shipment. Record the correct count and pallet type for input upon completion of the PO.

  • Record shipment data into computer system, such as PO, POC, rack location, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposes. Maintain accurate counts on inbound freight to insure appropriate warehouse storage availability.

  • Assist with maintaining an accurate inventory through cycle/directed counting. Research customer service issues including, but not limited to shortages, overages and damages and recommend appropriate response.

  • Monitor warehouse management system for open tickets and invoices.

  • Support the even flow from receiving to shipping and communicate issues and concerns. Identify and monitor high volume and high dollar items during shipping process.

  • Label all pallets to be stocked and verify accuracy of inbound freight received by comparing the purchase order with the bill of lading. Record discrepancies on bill of lading and inform clerk and/or appropriate management of damage and inventory shortages

  • Set up items and slots to ensure maximum efficiency for shipping and receiving. Recognize potential inventory hazards in warehouse.

  • Operate current warehouse management system. Utilize necessary technology (e.g., voice, RF gun) to select product.

  • Audit pick/reserve slots and keep rotation of product accurate, as needed.

Basic Requirements:

  • Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience.

  • Currently hold a DoD Secret Clearance.

  • Experience using Remedy Applications.

  • Extensive knowledge of all Warehouse Processes and Warehouse Systems including shipping and receiving.

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

  • Knowledge of DRMO process.

  • Electric pallet jack and forklift experience.

  • Strong communication skills - written and oral.

  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet Explorer.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Employee must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop and squat throughout an eight-hour shift.

  • Occasionally tear down a pallet which includes lifting cases and objects from and to heights ranging from floor to knee, waist, shoulder, and overhead ranging in weight from 10 to 50 pounds.

  • Uses hand to finger dexterity to peel and stick labels, handle or feel objects and or equipment controls, or reach with hands and arm.

  • Ability to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes.

  • Ability to adapt to needs of role in different work areas throughout the workday and meet minimum expectations of those different work areas Attention to detail and ability to differentiate our packages.

  • Ability to work in a noisy and non-climate controlled (hot in summer, cold in winter) environment.

  • Utilize proper PPE (i.e. safety shoes, gloves, safety harness, ladders)

  • Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA Certification

  • Possess an ITAM Certification.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $45,500.00 - $82,250.00
