We are seeking a Triton Maintenance Team Leader to lead a team of highly skilled aviation technicians supporting the MQ-4C Triton program. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with people leadership, ensuring maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Based in the Defence community of Tindal, NT, you'll play a key role in supporting one of Australia's most advanced aviation capabilities while building your leadership career within a growing and highly specialised program.

What you will do:

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of aviation maintenance personnel.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure aircraft availability and operational readiness.
  • Supervise and certify maintenance actions.
  • Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting expertise.
  • Drive safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support maintenance planning and resource management.
  • Foster a strong compliance, safety and teamwork culture.

About you:

To be successful you must have:

  • Aviation trade qualifications (Cert IV Aviation Trade or equivalent).
  • Holding a AGSVA NV1 security clearance with the ability to obtain a PV.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability.
  • Experience leading teams and managing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • A safety-first mindset.
