Manufacturing Engineer (MES & Process Improvements)
Responsibilities:
• Lead efforts to streamline and standardize manufacturing workflows to improve consistency, quality, and output.
• Contribute to Manufacturing Execution System deployment, configuration support, and ongoing process optimization within production operations.
• Create and maintain manufacturing records such as standard operating procedures, work instructions, process maps, routings, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain partners to remove inefficiencies and strengthen overall execution.
• Review production and process data to uncover constraints, reduce delays, and improve throughput across manufacturing activities.
• Support new product introduction by preparing manufacturing processes for launch and assisting with scale-up planning.
• Maintain product structure and production control elements, including bills of materials, travelers, routings, and engineering change updates.
• Investigate manufacturing issues on the floor, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent repeat problems.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or production engineering.
• Background improving manufacturing operations in advanced technology, aerospace, semiconductor, laboratory, or similarly complex environments.
• Experience developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation for repeatable production processes.
• Strong analytical thinking and practical problem-solving skills with the ability to work through production challenges.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems and quality management processes.
• Experience applying continuous improvement methods such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation
