Mfg Project Engineer x2
Responsibilities:
• Direct engineering and operations projects from initial planning through completion, ensuring milestones, risks, and resources remain on track.
• Coordinate work across manufacturing, facilities, engineering, quality, supply chain, and program teams to support timely project execution.
• Manage initiatives involving facility enhancements, infrastructure upgrades, laboratory preparation, cleanroom support, and equipment deployment.
• Build and maintain project schedules, progress updates, and risk documentation to provide clear visibility to stakeholders and leadership.
• Lead efforts that improve production readiness, operational capacity, workflow efficiency, and throughput within technical manufacturing environments.
• Partner with internal teams to support installation planning, startup activities, and readiness assessments for new equipment and spaces.
• Apply continuous improvement principles to strengthen manufacturing processes and help resolve operational issues through corrective actions.
• Communicate project status, priorities, constraints, and next steps effectively to cross-functional partners and decision-makers.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.• At least 3 years of experience in project engineering, manufacturing engineering, facilities engineering, operations engineering, or technical project management.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects involving manufacturing operations, facility improvements, or technical infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of building and utility systems such as electrical distribution, compressed air, process gases, laboratory support systems, or similar facility services.
• Strong skills in project planning, stakeholder coordination, organization, and written and verbal communication.
• Experience supporting advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, aerospace, scientific instrumentation, laboratory, or cleanroom environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, or related continuous improvement practices is preferred.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person.
