HR Recruiter

We are looking for an experienced HR Recruiter to join a retail food store organization on a Contract basis. This role will support hiring needs tied to multiple upcoming store openings and a growing volume of requisitions, while partnering with the corporate office to attract and secure talent with relevant experience. The ideal candidate brings strong full-cycle recruiting experience, confidence in candidate evaluation, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full recruitment process for a rising number of openings, from initial intake through offer stage and onboarding coordination.

• Source candidates with relevant experience through job postings, talent searches, and proactive outreach to build strong applicant pipelines.

• Review resumes, assess candidate fit, and conduct screening conversations to identify individuals aligned with hiring needs.

• Partner with hiring stakeholders to support recruitment efforts for new store launches and other active staffing demands.

• Lead candidate interviews and guide applicants through each step of the selection process with clear communication.

• Discuss compensation expectations and assist in offer negotiations to help secure accepted offers.

• Track candidate activity and hiring progress within the applicant tracking system to maintain accurate records.

• Contribute insight on talent availability and recruiting strategies, particularly for candidates with relevant industry background.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in recruiting, including full-cycle hiring responsibilities.
• Background in corporate recruiting and candidate sourcing across multiple open requisitions.
• Proven ability to conduct candidate screenings and interviews with sound judgment.
• Experience using an applicant tracking system to manage workflows and documentation.
• Comfortable discussing compensation and supporting offer negotiations.
• Industry experience in retail, food store, or a closely related environment is preferred.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Compensation

$33.25-$38.50 Hourly
