HR Director
We are looking for an experienced HR Director to lead the people function for a mission-driven long-term care organization in Wellesley Massachusetts. This onsite leadership role supports a 24/7 environment and partners closely with senior leadership to guide workforce strategy, employee engagement, and day-to-day HR operations. The position is ideal for someone who combines strategic insight with a hands-on approach to compliance, payroll oversight, and employee support.
Responsibilities:
• Direct the full scope of human resources activities, ensuring effective support for employees and leaders across a continuously operating care environment.
• Partner with executive leadership to shape organizational decisions, provide workforce guidance, and align HR priorities with business and care goals.
• Oversee core HR administration, including employee relations, benefits coordination, policy application, and personnel processes.
• Manage payroll-related oversight and collaborate with the appropriate team members to help maintain accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Lead HR practices that support staffing, retention, performance management, and a positive workplace culture for approximately 100 to 110 employees.
• Ensure adherence to employment laws, internal standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to healthcare and long-term care operations.
• Provide flexible leadership support when needed outside standard daytime hours to stay connected with second- and third-shift operations.
• Evaluate and improve HR procedures and systems to strengthen efficiency, consistency, and service delivery across the organization.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive human resources experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Background supporting long-term care, healthcare, or another around-the-clock operating environment strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of employee relations, HR administration, compensation, benefits, and compliance practices.
• Experience overseeing payroll processes and coordinating with payroll support resources.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Weston, Massachusetts.
• Proficiency with HR systems and platforms, including Paylocity, is highly desirable.
