HR Generalist- onsite- Kenyon
We are looking for an HR Generalist to support a wood and furniture manufacturing organization in Kenyon, Minnesota through a Long-term Contract assignment. This role will contribute across core human resources activities, including employee support, hiring coordination, onboarding, benefits administration, and day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate brings a practical, service-oriented approach and can manage both administrative detail and employee-facing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Guide employees and managers on workplace matters, helping address routine employee relations questions with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring paperwork, orientation steps, and introductory communication are completed accurately and on time.
• Administer daily HR operations, including record maintenance, policy-related documentation, and general support for human resources programs.
• Support benefits-related processes by assisting with enrollments, changes, and employee questions regarding available plans and coverage.
• Maintain accurate employee information within HRIS and payroll platforms, reviewing data for completeness and resolving discrepancies when needed.
• Assist with payroll activities for a workforce of fewer than 100 employees by helping verify employee updates, time-related information, and related documentation.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting tasks such as posting openings, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring logistics with managers.
• Partner with internal teams to keep HR processes organized, compliant, and responsive to the needs of the business.
Qualifications:
• Experience in a broad HR Generalist capacity, including employee relations and HR administration.• Working knowledge of onboarding practices and benefits administration processes.
• Hands-on experience using HRIS tools and payroll systems in a detail-focused environment.
• Familiarity with payroll support for small to mid-sized employee populations, including under-100 employee environments.
• Ability to coordinate recruitment activities across the full hiring lifecycle.
• Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail and record accuracy.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees, managers, and candidates.
Compensation
