HR Generalist

Compensation: $38 to $40 Hourly

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support core people operations for a Long-term Contract opportunity. In this role, you will partner with teams across the organization to manage recruiting coordination, onboarding activities, employee records, and day-to-day HR support. This position sits within the operations function and requires someone who can balance structured processes with sound judgment, strong organization, and a collaborative approach.


Responsibilities:

• Manage recruiting logistics by posting openings, screening candidates, arranging interviews, preparing offer documentation, and coordinating pre-employment checks.

• Lead onboarding activities for new employees, ensuring a smooth start through timely communication, documentation, and orientation support.

• Maintain accurate HR records, employment files, and system data while ensuring information is current, complete, and confidential.

• Update and organize job descriptions, HR templates, and related documentation to support consistency across the department.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to assist with employee relations matters and provide responsive day-to-day HR guidance.

• Support offboarding steps, including required paperwork, communication, and record updates associated with employee departures.

• Contribute to employee training coordination and help track learning-related activities as needed.

• Assist in documenting and refining HR procedures to improve efficiency, consistency, and appropriate use of technology.

• Complete assigned projects and routine deliverables within expected timelines while supporting additional HR-related needs as they arise.


Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of human resources practices, including recruiting, onboarding, employee documentation, and general HR administration.
• Experience using HR and business technology such as ADP Workforce Now, Dayforce, Ceridian, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prepare, review, and maintain accurate records, reports, and correspondence.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive employee information and confidential matters.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and build strong working relationships.
• Capability to work independently or with limited supervision while also contributing successfully as part of a team.
• Familiarity with employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and leave processes such as FMLA is preferred.

Compensation

$38.00-$40.00 Hourly
